Paper making has been a proud tradition in Amalfi since the thirteenth century. This skill was brought to the Italian Coast by trade with Arab countries.

The Amatruda family has been making paper since the seventeenth century in Amalfi. The paper they produce is such a fine quality paper that it is used in Italy and abroad to print exceptional and valuable works.

Italy is also renowned for quality leather as well as Amalfi for its paper.

Eva Caruso combines these two notable Italian traditions to create beautiful and unique books. Each book is bound with high quality Italian leather and paged with hand-made paper from Amalfi.
